On November 16, the Minnesota Technology Association hosted its 25th Tekne Awards. Winners were selected by a panel of peer judges in categories of business impact, community impact, and individual achievement. 

The Jed Mahonis Group received the Excellence in Partnership award along with its client, Little Free Library, for its work developing Little Free Library's mobile apps. This award honors successful collaborations between technology vendors and clients that drive significant, innovative business results.

The creation of the mobile app helped Little Free Library streamline data management, effectively eliminating 25 hours of weekly admin work for the nonprofit.

“In the two years since its launch, the Little Free Library mobile app has acquired nearly 200,000 users. The map is searched more than 230,000 times per month! We were able to sustain this growth thanks to the outstanding support of the team at the Jed Mahonis Group. Their partnership has been critical to our success,” said Megan Hanson, Senior Manager for Digital Marketing, Acquisition & Engagement at Little Free Library.
